Luxurious Spot in Currie Barracks

Likely won't book this apartment again Positive: The location of the apartment is great. Our family lives nearby and there are lots of options for exploring the area. Negative: Stated charges were issued against my card earlier than the booking mentioned and extra, unexplained early check-in charges also appeared. The deposit was ultimately refunded as well as the early check-in charge. The freezer was dirty and there was still laundry in the dryer. The second bedroom has a single bed that's more suited for a child. The property contacted me to thank me for staying, but then also gave contact info stating that repeat stays could be had for less if done outside of Booking. That didn't feel on the level. Also, the WiFi password was not part of the booking information, so I had to ask the property management for that. There was a loud party above us on Saturday night that went very late as well.

Loved the apartment, and would stay again. Positive: It was very well equipped except for a couple of things listed below. Communication with owner was really good. Appreciated the underground parking, and the two bedrooms. Would definitely stay again. Negative: We would have liked a dish towels, face clothes and more hangers. Struggled with the thermostat and couldn’t figure out how to turn it down.

We liked the area where we stayed, with a few allerations, the condo could have been a great find! Positive: Location was good. The unit was fairly clean. Negative: The bed was one of the worst we’ve had in a rental. Although we figured out a solution, there are no linens in the kitchen. The blinds are very difficult to open and close because of the plastic guards. Most units provide you with a booklet with instructions for the internet, tv(how to access channels or if they are available), thermostat, what to do with your garbage. I’m wondering if you are planning to put a few chairs and small table on the patio so that it can be used? This is a very nice condo, with a few added amenities, it would be an awesome find but the bed really has to be changed.

Positive: We chose this place because it was a stones throw from my brothers place. Check in was simple and straightforward. The indoor parking space was really tight (If you own a large vehicle, you won't fit) and the staircase was still under construction and the elevators are on the opposite end. Upon entering the apartment we were greeted with beautiful views. The freezer was left dirty as and there were grains of rice left on the floor. Everything else was nice and clean. The blanket on the single bed was just a sheet but they had an extra blanket in the closet. The heat was set to 24 and I, for the life of me, could not figure out how to set the temperature. Overall, it was a pleasant stay but after fees, it was quite pricey.
